On December 27, 2010, Bureau Veritas Certification, granted us licenses to our system of Occupational Safety and Health under the OHSAS 18001:2007 standard and our Environmental Management System under ISO 14001:2004.

Significant achievement is only awarded to organizations that meet strict international standards of Occupational Health and Safety and have implemented environmental management systems, which is the result of team work and effort to develop all employees of GL INGENIEROS S.A.

With the OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004, Environmental Management System Environmental and after having obtained the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System, GL ENGINEERS SA meets the requirements of these three standards part of its sThe scope of the Integrated Management System includes: Project management, engineering, procurement and construction of electrical and mechanical works for infrastructure, industry and Oil & Gas. Manufacturing of electrical substations, electrical panels and control force, special panels, metal engineering products for electrical and telecommunications sector.

These awards are in addition to product certification issued by the CIDET Corporation (Research and Technological Development for the Electrical Sector) to our Cell Media and Low Voltage Meters cabinets and cable trays that are certified to the technical specifications: CODENSA and RETIE, which the organization says in this way the integrated management of projects.

History

GL INGENIEROS S.A., was created in 1989 in order to take care of the needs of the Industry, Infrastructure and Energy sectors in regards to provide solutions for the medium and big industry in electromechanical assemblies, automatization, control processing, plants modernization and the manufacture of electrical boards.

Our company has alliances with corporations specialized in the subject with world-wide recognition and of which we are systems integrators for the development of our projects and the manufacture of electrical boards.

Our Quality Management system is certified by the Bureau Veritas according to norm NTC ISO 9001:2008, also we count with product certification for some of our metal-mechanical products granted by the corporation Centro de Investigación y Desarrollos Tecnológico of the electrical sector - CIDET.

Constructive Characteristics:

Manufacture in Cold Rolled sheets, galvanized or stainless steel, with the caliber according to the client needs and/or the applicable norm.
Sheet surface treatment though the removals of grease, washing, phosphatization, washing and passivation. Done in 5 steps.
Electrostatic paint in texturized furnace powder, Ral Color 7032.
Key triangular cup plates or bombin type plate, two grooves with mechanisms at the closing in three points.
The covers are fixed to the body with tropicalized countersunk bristol type screwery or irized and externally disassemble.

Our company renders in its metal-mechanical plant, sheet cutting and bending service for Galvanized and Stainless Steel Cold Rolled.

Cutting Services

We count with a hydraulic shear guillotine with cutting capacity from 0,86mm up to 6mm in steel (CR y HR) and 4mm in stainless steel, the longest cut is from 3100mm. The same way we cut aluminum and the floor plates steel sheets has 3/16" thick.

Bending Service

Hydraulic folding machine with bending capacity of 6mm (1/4") x 1mts in length, 4.7mm (3/16") x 3mts in length in (CR y HR) and 4mm in stainless steel.

Hydraulic bender with 110 Ton capacity in 3000mm.

The motorized back top allows with great exactitude, counts with two types of striker pins allowing bending ranges.

We manage folding up to 30° and pleatened sheets up to 16 calibers.

The folding is made in two steps that allows the speed adjustment, exactitude and duration of each one of the folding series.
